MEET HANNAH.
Hey, I’m Hannah (she/her). I’m the heart and soul behind Planted Roots Design Studio.
With a background in Social Work, more specifically working with displaced people, I have a profound interest in the meaning of ‘home’ and how our homes tell our stories. I show up in the interior design and home organizing world with a unique and distinct perspective; interior design and organizing is about far more than just beautifying places. My design philosophy is rooted in creating sustainable spaces that truly reflect the character of the people who inhabit them.
As someone who lives with ADHD, I understand firsthand how challenging it can be to keep up with a calm and organized home. It has been incredibly beneficial for me to create spaces and organizational systems in my own home that don’t feel intimidating or burdensome to maintain and I am deeply passionate about helping others to do the same.
In my work with clients, there is no one-size-fits-all model. I believe in a personalized approach and take the time to get to know you and your unique needs and preferences. That way, I can design intentional and thoughtful spaces that work for you. The pursuit isn't a flawless, perfect home; because, let’s face it, life isn’t perfect. Instead, it's about crafting a beautiful space, but one that is still practical and sustainable for your everyday life. I design rooms and storage systems that feel effortless to maintain, embracing a realistic approach so that you can feel empowered and in control of your home.

We deeply believe in accessibility, which is why we offer a variety of packages at different price points – because every project, no matter its size, is important to us. Whether it's transforming your entire house or simply curating one cupboard or room, we are here to help you create pockets of calm and beauty in your home. We collaborate with clients every step of the way throughout the process, ensuring that your unique vision is reflected in the final design or organizational plan. As part of our commitment to sustainability, whenever possible we try to source furniture, finishings, and products from local stores and ethically responsible suppliers.
